We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and IT leadership to develop cloud strategies that support business objectives while ensuring security, reliability, and cost efficiency.
The Cloud Solutions Architect will serve as a technical leader, guiding cloud adoption, modernization initiatives, and digital transformation projects across multiple cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop cloud architecture standards, governance policies, and best practices.
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premises environments to cloud platforms.
- Design secure networking architectures, including VPNs, VPCs, firewalls, load balancers, and identity management.
- Architect highly available, fault-tolerant, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, security, and cost optimization.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Bicep.
- Evaluate existing infrastructure and recommend cloud optimization strategies.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and application issues.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to engineering teams.
- Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, security practices, and industry trends.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience designing enterprise cloud solutions.
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or cloud engineering.
- Experience designing hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.
- Strong experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep).
- Proficiency with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.
- Knowledge of container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
